going from one era to another, folks. this is "Breathe" by Shinedown. this song was supposedly going to be on the Threat to Survival album from 2015, but wasn't included for whatever reason. because they thought that eleven tracks was plenty on the standard edition and vice versa with with the bonus track edition.
musically, i mean it's Shinedown. what do you expect? Brent sounds amazing on this song an the message in the lyrics is understandable. the music fits with the sound of the Threat to Survival album and it feels like a worthy bonus track at the very least.
this track surfaced not too long ago and i thought i'd uploaded here on YouTube to give the song more coverage. it's a fantastic track and it's a shame that it wasn't included on the album. oh well. it's here now, so...
