Chennai: Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) founder Kamal Hassan speech at 'mega' public meeting in Chennai on today, organised as part of his party's Women's Day celebration. Kamal fans and supporters gathered in large numbers YMCA Grounds in Royapettah to celebrate international women's day. "Since this is MNM's first public meeting in the city after it was launched in Madurai recently, members and fans from various parts throng Chennai today. As kamal mentioned It is not going to be a show of strength,The event at the YMCA Grounds in Royapettah would be organised by the women's wing of MNM, headed by actress Sripriya and filmmaker Kameela Nasser. It is learnt that around 4,000 women and 6 women entrepreneurs will attend the meet and enroll themselves in MNM.
