Little Ouse
Lovely little river with real character and history, marking the Norfolk/Suffolk border and flowing all the way to the Great Ouse. Today we trotted a float using maggots but didn’t get a single bite. We have caught fish here before, but it can be tough going. The Little Ouse clearly faces ecological challenges that hit fish numbers and habitat quality, yet with ongoing local restoration efforts it still has real potential. Fingers crossed it improves with care!
