Our adventure started with a quick ride on a songthaew (local truck taxi) to Bali Hai Pier in Pattaya. From there, we hopped on a ferry 🚢 to the island — it’s budget-friendly, smooth, and such a scenic way to begin the day! Once we arrived, we rented a scooter 🛵 and hit the road to explore the best spots on Koh Larn Island.

Our first stop was the stunning Tawaen Viewpoint, where the views over the coastline and the sparkling turquoise water left us speechless 😍. Then we made our way to the peaceful Nual Beach, also known as Monkey Beach 🐒. Yes — there were monkeys! They’re cheeky and curious, so keep your snacks and bags close!

Next, we cruised up to the Windmill Viewpoint, a peaceful spot with amazing panoramic views — no crowds, just fresh air and endless sea. 🌬️ But what came after was a bit of a thrill… the ride downhill was super steep and honestly a little scary (but fun!) 😅.

By lunchtime, we landed at the quiet and crystal-clear Ta Yai Beach. We had delicious Thai food right by the water 🍽️🌊 — total island vibes! Finally, we wrapped up our Koh Larn adventure at Samae Beach, one of the island’s most popular and chill spots. Great for swimming, relaxing, and soaking up the last rays before heading back. 🌅
