Armed with only a camcorder and a very fragile sense of courage, we make our way through dark hallways, creepy inmates, and moments that had us screaming out loud. If you like watching people lose their minds to terrifying sound design and things crawling out of nowhere — you’re in the right place.

Outlast is a survival horror game where you play as Miles Upshur, a journalist who breaks into Mount Massive Asylum looking for answers. What he finds instead is a hellscape full of blood, terror, and things you wish stayed hidden.

There are no weapons. No real way to fight back. Just your camcorder, your legs, and your gut instinct telling you to run and not look back. The game plays with your nerves from the start — and as you’ll see in our playthrough, it’s not long before everything completely unravels.
