India’s longest rail-cum-road bridge on the Brahmaputra river- Bogibeel, will connect Dibrugarh to Dehamji which will, in turn, boost rail-road connectivity and reduce travel time for the passengers. The rail-road bridge is expected to be opened for public by October 2018. Atal Bihari Vajpayee had laid the foundation stone for the bridge about 16 years back.
