One of the UK’s most famous beaches, Brighton Beach. Happy Summer walking!
Brighton Beach is a popular seaside escape that buzzes with activity
during the summer. Go for a stroll along the promenade, ride fairground
attractions on a Victorian pier and revel in the lively atmosphere of the
beach’s busy cafés, restaurants and clubs.
The coast is covered with large pebbles and the waters can be icy, but
the beach still attracts many swimmers and water sports enthusiasts. Try
windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and wakeboarding, or simply watch the
action from the comfort of the shore.

Brighton beach is facilitated with piers. It has a history of three piers:
The Chain Pier (1823 - 1896), the West Pier (1866 - 1975), and the
Palace Pier (now called Brighton Pier) (1899 - still going strong). Today
Brighton has two piers. The one on the east side of the seafront is
Brighton Pier (formerly, Palace Pier) and is in good working order,
attracting a claimed 3 million-plus visitors each year. The other, the
West Pier on the west side of the seafront (as its name suggests!) is a
scene of dereliction. All that remains of this Grade 1 listed building is its
blackened, charred iron skeleton.
Over the years Brighton has become renowned for it's infamous pier,
packed full of rides and attractions – making it the perfect day out for
the family. ... Also make sure to check out Brighton's Sea Life Centre,
The Royal Pavilion, and Hove's vibrant beach huts whilst you're there.

The beach at Brighton consists of a sloping shingle bank, with a level
area of sand exposed or covered with shallow water at low tide. At high
tide, the sea can be deep just a couple of meters off-shore. Children
who cannot swim should be kept away until near the time of low tide.
Although traditional pub grub such as pies, bangers and mash,
shepherd's pie, and fish and chips remain popular, Brighton's abundant
gastropubs serve these classics with innovative twists or, alternatively,
create exciting dishes of their own.

neon dinosaurs, have sharks swimming above you and enjoy 360° views from 450
feer in the air!
Brighton's nightlife is arguably the best in the UK. ... ..but there is much more to
Brighton nightlife than clubs and late-night venues, not that there is anything
wrong with those. The sheer number of venues, ranging from cosy pubs through
to late night clubs, means that there is plenty to do late at night.

The best way to stay safe in the sea is to always swim on life-guarded
beaches between the red and yellow flags. Brighton has had lifeguards
patrolling the designated swimming areas on Brighton's beaches since
May, but this will come to an end on September Brighton Beach is in Kings

Beach offers residents a dense urban feel and most residents rent their
homes. In Brighton Beach there are a lot of bars, restaurants, coffee shops,

The atmosphere is always friendly and fun, and kids love to play on the

the other entertainment options nearby. It’s quite possible that the
British Bank Holiday was invented just so that anyone can spend a
weekend in Brighton.
