And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.

And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.
[5]Yesu ahageze arararama aramubwira ati “Zakayo, ururuka vuba kuko uyu munsi nkwiriye kurara iwawe.”
And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.

But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
[56]aravuga ati “Dore mbonye ijuru rikingutse, n'Umwana w'umuntu ahagaze iburyo bw'Imana.”
And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
[59]Bakimutera amabuye, arāmbaza aravuga ati “Mwami Yesu, akira umwuka wanjye.”
And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
[60]Arapfukama avuga ijwi rirenga ati “Mwami, ntubabareho iki cyaha.” Amaze kuvuga atyo arasinzira.Nuko Sawuli na we ashima ko yicwa.
And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
