In honor of Hello Kitty's 45th anniversary and Mobile Suit Gundam's 40th anniversary, we are treated to a delightful crossover between the two properties.

Fans of Hello Kitty may recall her previous collaboration with Mazinger Z, which resulted in some fantastic toys and trailers. This time, Hello Kitty teams up with Amuro Ray piloting the RX-78-2 Gundam from the original Mobile Suit Gundam. The introductory trailer even features all-new animation depicting the classic One Year War conflict.

While the modern reboot of the original Gundam, Gundam: The Origin, introduces new fans to the mythos, it makes significant changes from the original manga. It would be incredible to see the original TV series and movies reanimated in the same way as in this trailer.

For now, we have the delightful crossover between Hello Kitty and Mobile Suit Gundam to enjoy, and Amuro will surely appreciate the support.
