Описание: Sacramento, also known as "The River City" is home to where two rivers meet just north of Downtown. The Sacramento River flows from the Klamath Mountains in a southward direction into Sacramento then empties into the San Francisco Bay. It crosses 19 California counties, mainly in the Sacramento Valley. The American River flows from the Sierra Nevada mountains into Sacramento. Part of the river was redirected and constructed in the nineteenth century to avoid flooding the downtown area, as it was artificially connected with the Sacramento River. The American River is known for its gold rush history in the 1840s. SacTV.com host Alex Cosper explains why it's a great natural setting for visitors and why spending time with nature can be more important than spending too much time with technology. The video concludes with the original Sunsetrip song "Scene On The Riverside."
