Описание: Faccio tutto il lavoro di finitura esclusivamente a rasiera senza mai utilizzare cartavetro o abrasivi di nessun tipo, per evidenziare al meglio la brillantezza e il disegno delle figure del legno. L'effetto di leggera compressione delle fibre, tipico della rasiera, contribuirà a creare un certo rilievo della venatura, evidenziandola e favorendo un aspetto meno "piatto" della superficie. Utilizzo una rasiera affilata a 90° (a doppio tagliente) con dimensioni di 110 mm di larghezza e 50 mm di altezza, e una rasiera più piccola, con dimensioni di circa 55 mm x 35 mm per rifinire i dettagli con curve più pronunciate della sguscia vicino ai bordi e delle punte. Lo spessore non dovrà essere inferiore a 0,5 mm, per garantire il giusto rapporto tra rigidezza e flessibilità.

I do all the finishing work exclusively with a scraper, never using sandpaper or abrasives of any kind, to best highlight the brilliance and figures of the wood. The slight compression of the fibers, typical of the scraper, helps create a certain relief in the grain, highlighting it and promoting a less "flat" appearance of the surface. I use a 90° sharpened scraper (double cutting edge) measuring about 110 mm wide and 50 mm high, and a smaller scraper measuring approximately 55 mm x 35 mm to refine the details with more pronounced curves of the fluting near the edges and in the corners. The thickness should be no less than 0.5 mm, to ensure the right balance of rigidity and flexibility.
