Travel along this old railway line in the North Island of New Zealand on a journey with Forgotten World Adventures. This is a truly great trip that traverses a 142km route of disused Kiwi Rail line stretching from the main trunk line at Okahukura across to Stratford. The line was used by Kiwi Rail up until 2009 when it was abandoned. Forgotten World Adventures took a lease on the line which sees us able to ride the rails in these Rail Carts today. January 2025.
