The unit is an AIRCO SERIE 2317 centrifugal blower, size 1350 CBL/M, in operation since 1993. It has a rotational speed of 1500 rpm and is belt driven by a 225 kW electric motor.
Alphatec was called in, to inspect, analyse and propose a solution to the poor conditions of the foundation under the impeller and driver.
