Installing Windows 95 On A VM (VPC 2004) (Windows 95 30th Anniversary Video)

Описание: NOTE: This video was made for the 30th anniversary of Windows 95, which was on August 24, 2025. I was originally going to upload the video on that day, but real-life got in the way. But nonetheless, please enjoy the video!

In this one hour long-form video, I will be installing Windows 95 on my Intel Compaq, which is a Compaq Presario 7000 computer with an Intel Pentium III processor, but on a virtual machine (VM). I will be using Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 on Windows 2000 for this experiment.

Because this video also marks the 30th anniversary of Windows 95 (since its general availability on August 24, 1995), I also showcase some of the features of Windows 95 such as the then-new and revolutionary user interface, some included programs, and other features.
