And the developers decided to make it more broken as time went on by adding overpowered dlc that just turns the game into a perfectly balanced nightmare of video game exploits in this grand strategy game. So welcome to civilization 6 or civilisation 6 depending on what english you speak. Now this is arguably one of the best sid meiers grand strategy games ever made. But it is not as balanced as civ 5 and it really shows! Today The Spiffing brit will be breaking the marathon game speed of this game with a civ leader that is not the top civ at all. If anything they are normally the worst kind of leader as their ability sucks. However on marathon game speed the Ai breaks down and becomes useless and the ability to cheat out the best wonders in just 1% of the build time is very overpowered! 3X slower than normal with a total game length of 1500 turns! But what the developers didnt realise is that they built a broken perfectly balanced gamespeed by not lowering the rate barbarians spawn meaning every few turns a new barb camp spawns. Yet it takes 30 turns just to build a warrior. So you end up in a fun situation where the AI is getting destroyed by the barbarians.

So what if we exploit this broken gameplay feature by playing as china and building wonders at record speed allowing us to Speedrun the worlds slowest Game of Civ 6. So let the spiffing brit try and exploit his way to victory whilst dodging nuclear Gandhi and his desire for the apocalypse! so after every civ 6 update its time for marathon civ marathon to begin!
