INSANE Drift Builds: 2JZ Beetle & 2JZ Volvo PV444 | Build VS Build

Описание: They put 2JZ's into WHAT? In this video we analyze two of the most insane 2JZ drift cars in the world, that should not even exist!

Putting a 2JZ-GTE Supra engine into everything that drifts is becoming sooo mainstream. Every once in a while though, a build so out-of-the-box pops into our radar that the rest of the car out-crazies the engine choice.

We will analyze a VW Beetle with a front-engine 2JZ and compare it to a 1950’s Volvo PV, also swapped with a 2JZ. In the end, we will score both of them in the usual Grumblo criteria of performance, looks, and sounds.

In the red corner, the VW Beetle drift car from Thailand. Vard Teppratan aka Vard the Mechanic has somehow managed to take every piece of automotive driveline component that does not fit a Beetle, and fit them into a Beetle. The 2JZ engine resides at the front trunk, followed by the usual V160 Getrag 6-speed transmission.

In the blue corner, the PV from hell, or Norway to be more precise. This car is an outright monster with its 2JZ-GTE VVTi engine.
