Synopsis:
Santa Fe Trail (1940) is a classic Western drama set in the tense years before the American Civil War. After graduating from West Point, cavalry officers Jeb Stuart and George Armstrong Custer are sent to the dangerous Kansas Territory, where they confront abolitionist John Brown’s violent campaign against slavery. Along the way they also clash over the affections of Kit Carson Holliday, blending action, romance, and frontier conflict into an epic tale of duty and love on the wild Santa Fe Trail.
