John L. Cameron, MD, FACS, FRCSEng(Hon), FRCSEd(Hon), FRCSI(Hon) has had a long and distinguished career in alimentary tract diseases and specifically in pancreatic cancer. He has operated on more patients with pancreatic cancer and done more Whipple resections than any other surgeon in the world. He served as chief of surgery for The Johns Hopkins Hospital for nineteen years, and was President of the American College of Surgeons from 2008-2009. The presentation was delivered by Keith D. Lillemoe, MD, FACS.
