Reiver Country proudly partnered in the annual Give Kids A Smile event, assisting local dentists as they provided free dental care to children in the community. The effort ensures kids receive important oral health services they might otherwise go without.
Dental Assistant students from Iowa Western played a hands-on role, gaining valuable first-hand experience in a real clinical setting. From assisting chairside to helping young patients feel comfortable, students not only sharpened their technical skills but also experienced the rewards of delivering real-world healthcare to kids.
It’s another example of Iowa Western students learning by doing — and making a difference, one smile at a time.
