Mostafa Khoshcheshm on Why Iran will not negotiate over its 60%-enriched uranium

Описание: Speaking to Al Mayadeen, International affairs and foreign policy expert Mostafa Khoshcheshm said that Qatari and Pakistani mediation efforts lack independent political weight, adding that the United States is driving the process and seeking to remove or reduce Iran’s enriched uranium.

Khoshcheshm said that Iran considers its 60%-enriched uranium a component of its deterrence and will not agree to discuss giving it up, warning that doing so could expose the country to a preemptive US attack.
