I seek refuge in the name of Allah, the creator of the universe and all that is in it.
In the name of Allah the most beneficent the most merciful. I bear witness that there is no God but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad peace be upon him is his servant and Final Messenger.
May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, his household, his companions and all those of you who follow their path till the day of judgement.
Allah! To him belongs everything my mind can perceive, he is the almighty, he has created humankind in the best of form.
My dear brothers and sisters, with Allah’s permission and for his pleasure, I remind myself first, and then relay this information in an effort to make you aware.
In Islam’s history and tradition, the country you know as Ethiopia/Eritrea was known in the time of the Prophet Muhammad as salatu wa salaam as (Abyssinia or Al-Habasha) is translated as the “Haven of the First Migration or Hijra.” For Muslims, Abyssinia is synonymous with freedom from persecution and emancipation from fear.
