Today’s conversation features Marianne Moss Madsen, a master’s-trained healthcare literacy specialist who spent more than 20 years helping doctors and scientists translate complex medical research into language the general public could understand. When members of her own family began facing health challenges that conventional medicine could not fully resolve, Marianne started exploring the world of natural health.

A chance encounter with someone from DesBio opened an unexpected door. Marianne began working there as a writer, explaining homeopathy and other natural health concepts in simple, practical terms for both practitioners and the public. That experience sparked a deep fascination with homeopathics and other holistic modalities. She went on to complete her naturopathic doctoral training and later became Director of Meetings and Education for DesBio, traveling around the country with their widely attended symposium series.

When family health concerns made travel difficult, Marianne transitioned into a leadership role at a clinic focused on myalgic encephalomyelitis and chronic fatigue syndrome, serving as Director of Patient and Practitioner Education. She eventually opened her own clinic dedicated to supporting individuals navigating ME/CFS. Today, she has returned to DesBio as an educator, where she enjoys discussing products and protocols with fellow practitioners.
