Welcome to the BMW Maintenance Series where you are going to learn how to maintain your BMW yourself and save a bunch of money in the process. Today I show you how easy it is to change the transmission fluid on your BMW E90 325i but this will be a very similar process on my 3 series cars. BMW calls this fluid 'lifetime' use but I don't agree. You should replace your transmission fluid every 10 years or 100,000kms. Be careful to use the correct fluid for your transmission otherwise you can blow it up!
