Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF (VWO), which shed 7,594,806 shares, or a 0.5% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of VWO, in morning trading today China Mobile Hong Kong Limit (CHL) is off about 1.2%, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturi (TSM) is up by about 1.4%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Semiconductor ETF (SMH), which lost 2,150,000 of its shares, for a whopping 21.2% decline in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of SMH, in morning trading today Intel Corporation (INTC) is off about 0.7%, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturi (TSM) is up by about 1.4%.
