Why You Keep Loosing Fights As Edmont In Prior Extinction

This fight was an adult Rex against my adult Edmont. The outcome really came down to control, not raw damage. I focused on positioning the entire time, keeping my tail lined up so he never got a clean angle on my sides while slowly forcing him to commit first. Every time he stepped in I answered with a well timed kick, not panic kicks, but deliberate ones meant to punish movement and break confidence. After a few of those landed you could see the hesitation start.
I constantly mixed in Edmont bites between the kicks to stack pressure instead of just trading blows. Using bite, tail control, and kick together keeps damage steady while draining the Rex mentally and physically. I never relied on sprint because sprinting wastes stamina and makes your movement predictable. Walking and trotting lets you pivot tighter and keep your hitbox working for you instead of against you.
The early kicks matter the most. If you land strong kicks early the Rex stops wanting to fully commit. Once that fear sets in the fight changes. He starts second guessing every push and that’s where Edmont wins. This wasn’t about tanking hits, it was about making the Rex uncomfortable the entire fight until he ran out of good options.
