Описание: India received Japan's first yen loans in 1958. Since then, India has been an attractive aid destination for Japan in both the political and economic senses, says Purnendra Jain, professor of Japanese Studies at the University of Adelaide in Australia. He says India and Japan should cooperate to implement international cooperation in third countries such as Africa and this can be expected to create synergy for more effective and efficient aid, since India and Japan share values, ideas, institutions, rule of law, democracy, human rights and more. He visited JICA-RI as a visiting fellow from June to July, 2016, and talked about Japan's foreign aid policy and its effects on India.
