Grandmother Judy Conway now sees her grandchildren, but only after her grandson Adrian Jones was tortured and starved by his father and stepmother, while under the watch of Department of Children and Family (DCF) in Kansas.
Most grandparents provide greater layers of unconditional love and care and safety and protection for grandchildren than ANY government agency can--yet too often grandparents are discounted by people who work in the very agencies that are supposed to protect the children. In Judy's case, DCF ignored her grandson calls for help on behalf of her grandson. Had they listened to her, Adrian would still be alive.
