Welcome to Ventures Onsite’s November 2025 Construction Market Update, your trusted source for verified project intelligence across the GCC and Egypt.
This month’s edition features some of the region’s most significant project launches and contract awards, from energy and infrastructure to hospitality and real estate.
In Kuwait,
the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) awarded a contract worth US$523.4 million to Archirodon Construction Company for the Shuaiba Oil Pier New South Arm Facility. The project will expand Kuwait’s oil export capacity, enabling the port to handle greater volumes of refined petroleum and improve overall operational efficiency.
In Saudi Arabia,
the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) is leading a consortium to develop the Dawadmi Wind Power Project, a renewable energy development valued at US$839 million. Delivering 1,500 megawatts of clean energy, the project is part of the Kingdom’s broader initiative to add 4,500 megawatts of solar and wind capacity, setting a new global benchmark with a record-low cost of 1.33 cents per kilowatt hour.
In the United Arab Emirates,
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched the US$1.28 billion Mohammed bin Rashid Endowment District, a two-million-square-foot mixed-use development that includes a 250-bed hospital, two schools for 5,000 students, residential housing, and 25 endowment buildings with more than 2,000 units.
Dubai continues to dominate with a series of major project announcements. Expo City Dubai appointed Engineering Contracting Company (ECC) as the main contractor for Sidr Residences, a high-end residential project featuring three interconnected towers and 421 homes, scheduled for completion in 2027.
Meanwhile, Union Properties launched Mirdad, a US$544 million sustainable community in Motor City, offering over 1,000 apartments and 26 lifestyle amenities. In the DIFC, H&H Development unveiled The Carlyle Residences, the brand’s first-ever project outside New York, designed by Sir David Chipperfield and Tristan Auer.
In Egypt,
the construction market also gained momentum. PRE Group announced MASSIV, a new phase of its Big Business District in New Cairo, designed by the late Zaha Hadid. Spanning 48 acres, the development includes office, retail, and hospitality components.
Additionally, Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) began construction on a US$788 million Four Seasons complex located directly behind the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza. The project will include a 495-room luxury hotel, serviced residences, and pedestrian tunnels connecting it to the museum, seamlessly blending Egypt’s heritage with modern hospitality.
