The Chi Recap, Season 4 Episode 8 – Love Jones

The new episode of The Chi season 4 episode 8 – Black Messiah. Kevin tries to get Jemma back. Papa also tries to get Maisha back. Emmett may be hitting relationship woes, again. Keisha starts to open up to dating.

On The Chi season 4 episode 7, Kevin might have a new fling but she kept him in the friend zone. He noticed the girl liked a little color in a guy’s hair so he dyed his midnight blue. Douda gave the command to shut down a whore house. Trig and Imani had to get the women transitioned to normal life. Though Trig suffered a setback of his own when he could stop a murder from happening. Emmett and Tiff explore a sex party. Nina confesses to Dre she cheated. Jake shows his affection for Jemma. And Keisha finally named her son after her savior, Ronnie.

On The Chi season 4 episode 8, this episode is all about Love…

Emmett reflects on his marriage with Tiffany and confides in Papa and Kevin for advice. He needs Papa to talk him off the ledge. In the previous episode, Emmett wanted to take Tiff on a date and he finally gets a chance. He takes her out to see the beautiful city of Chicago.

Ex-besties Jake and Kevin have some words at the party. Kevin tells him, “when I told you to get a girlfriend… I didn’t mean mine.” At that same party, Papa was depressed to see his ex, Maisha, had moved on and dancing with another fellow. He vowed to get her back.

Later on, Kevin catches up with Jemma to talk. He asks her, “you still love me?” Could Kevin and Jemma get back together? Does she deserve him?

Papa went to see Maisha and told her how he feels about her and that he missed her.

Keisha went out on another date with Christian. However, she had another panic attack and stormed out but the young man consoled her- understanding the torment she experienced.
