We then begin the rail tour action with LMS Black 5 44871 arriving with the Railway Touring Company The York Yuletide Express terminating at York before hearing to the yard for turning and servicing.

No long after a North Eastern thoroughbred in the shape of D9000 ‘Royal Scots Grey’ arrives into York with Steam Dreams 4 day ‘Edinburgh Christmas Market’ excursion up to Scotland, looking immaculate and sounding brilliant running on both engines ready to perform a loco swap with 60532 ‘Blue Peter’ before the A2 lays down the power with a fantastic departure out of York! | 27.11.2025
