Beatrice Blue is a visual development artist and freelance illustrator currently living in Montréal, Quebec. She works in the animation industry as well as picture books and illustration. She lives with her husband Dani and her dog Jungle, always surrounded by great adventures – and a lot of snow. This is the third title in Beatrice Blue's trilogy of how magical creatures got their distinguishing features, following Once Upon a Unicorn Horn and Once Upon a Dragon's Fire
