Through the work of Sebastião Salgado, I discovered the human story behind something millions of us drink every day. From Brazil to Africa, from mule caravans to hand-picked cherries, coffee is labor, history, and memory.

Salgado didn’t even like coffee. Yet it shaped his childhood, his family, and eventually one of his most personal photographic projects.

This is not a book review.

It’s a reflection on coffee, photography, and the people behind the cup.
