🍞 French Bread Ingredients:
►Active Dry Yeast: Helps the dough rise. Dissolve in warm water to activate, or use instant yeast as an alternative.
►Sugar: Adds a touch of sweetness and feeds the yeast for better rising.
Warm Water: Ensure the water is between 105°F-110°F for optimal yeast activation.
►Salt: Used in the dough and salted butter for the crust. You can also sprinkle extra salt on top if desired.
►All-Purpose Flour: You can substitute with bread flour for a chewier texture.
►Olive Oil: Greases the bowl for rising and adds a subtle richness to the dough.
►Egg: Combined with cold water for an egg wash to give the bread a shiny, golden crust.

🍞 How to Make French Bread:
In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, yeast, and warm water. Stir to dissolve.
Add flour, salt, and oil. Mix with a dough hook for about 2 minutes.
Let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes, then mix again if additional flour was added.
Coat the dough with olive oil, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour.
Once the dough doubles in size, punch it down and divide it into two pieces.
Roll each piece into a log about 12x14 inches, keeping the ends thinner.
