Manitoba Construction Sector Council recently held two cohorts of its ground-breaking SkySkills Drones in Construction training.
The Merit Contractors Association of Manitoba cohort qualified in Basic & Advanced Drone Operations. Meanwhile, members from four Indigenous First Nations communities in Manitoba and Ontario secured their Basic Drone Operation certification - a win for everyone all around!
The four First Nations from Manitoba and Ontario that underwent MCSC SkySkills training for six participants were Animakee Wa Zhing #37 First Nation, Niiischewan Anishinaabe, Shoal Lake #40, and Washagamis Bay.
The lead instructor for both cohorts was Parker Klassen from Wanless Geo-Point Solutions Inc.
