We began our trek from Kande on Friday at 5:00 PM and reached the top by 6:30 PM. This was a monsoon season hike, so the weather was cool and refreshing. We didn’t expect the skies to clear… but what we saw at the top was unforgettable!

From Australian Camp, we enjoyed breathtaking views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna, and the entire Himalayan range — not just in the early morning, but even in the evening.

If you’re in Pokhara and want a quick hiking adventure that can be done in a single day, Australian Camp is the perfect choice for panoramic mountain views without a long trek.
