MAG Press Conference at MATTA Fair September 2025

Описание: Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) marked a defining milestone at the MATTA Fair 2025 press conference earlier today, officiated by Datuk Captain Izham Ismail, Group Managing Director of MAG; Mr Dersenish Aresandiran, Chief Commercial Officer of Airlines, MAG; and Captain Nasaruddin A. Bakar, Chief Operating Officer of Airlines, Malaysia Airlines Berhad.

The event unveiled MAG’s bold vision – expanded routes, stronger connectivity across key markets, and the debut of MAYA, Asia Pacific’s first AI-powered cabin crew, a lifelike digital human character.

✈️ Route Expansions
• Malaysia Airlines resumes daily flights to Chengdu on 9 Jan 2026.
• Firefly adds three new routes: Krabi (daily from 17 Nov 2025), Siem Reap (3x weekly from 27 Nov 2025), and Cebu (5x weekly from 2 Dec 2025).

Both airlines will also boost frequencies with Malaysia Airlines increasing flights to South Asia, China, Australia, and New Zealand and Firefly increasing flights to ASEAN – reinforcing MAG’s role as Your Gateway to Asia and Beyond. With these milestones, MAG advances its 2030 vision of becoming a Top 10 global airline group.
