This journey begins before sunrise in Moab, Utah, near Arches National Park.
It continues along US-191 and US-163 to Monument Valley and Kayenta, Arizona.
Monument Valley is significant to Native Americans and is one of the most iconic destinations in the United States.
Located on the Colorado Plateau, it sits at an elevation of 5,000 to 6,000 feet (1,500 to 1,800 meters) above sea level, spanning the border between Utah and Arizona.
US Highway 163, which passes through Monument Valley, is famous for being one of the most scenic drives in the US.
