NOTE: Back in 2004, ESPN utilized "whip-around" coverage for the early rounds of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament. As a result, they would often switch away from games that were becoming one-sided, so this video only contains the first 25 minutes of game action before ESPN switched away and didn't come back until the final minute of the game.
Diana Taurasi scores 17 points to help UConn defeat Auburn by a score of 79-53 in the second round of the 2004 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament.
Ann Strother adds 16 points for the Huskies, while Le'Coe Willingham paces Auburn with 14 points.
Game originally played on March 23, 2004 and broadcast nationally on ESPN, featuring commentary by Dan Shulman and Doris Burke.
