Since the mirrors will be "hanging" from the mirror cell, I wanted a cell that had no play in it, which can cause the "mirror flop" syndrome, and wreck a pointing model.
Joel Kaplan and Daniel Wynn made this mirror cell. I had a lot to do with the design.
See the preliminary test of the telescope that these will be mounted in. Notice the C-Clamps and counterweights. You've got to "make hay while the stars shine" here in the Pacific Northwest!
