Surviving a WILD Football Match in India 🇮🇳

Описание: In this video, I’m heading to my very first football match in India! I’m in Kolkata, and as luck would have it, Mohun Bagan was playing against Punjab FC in the Indian Super League. As a massive football fan, this was an unmissable opportunity—I love exploring new stadiums and catching live sports while I travel.

Upon arriving at the stadium, I spent a bit of time figuring out where the ticket booth was to pick up my online purchase. The ticket set me back just 200 INR (a little over 2 US dollars). While I was wandering around, I struck up a conversation with some locals, and one of them offered me a free ticket—super generous of him! So, instead of picking up mine, I happily accepted his offer.

I made my way into Salt Lake Stadium, one of the largest stadiums in Asia, with a seating capacity of 85,000. I ended up with one of the ultras groups, and they couldn’t have been more welcoming.

The atmosphere during the match was incredible—chanting, singing, and all-around passion. Mohun Bagan scored 3 goals in the second half to seal the win and extend their lead at the top of the league by 7 points. It was such an exciting experience, with some wild celebrations after each goal!

Big thanks to everyone I met that night—you were all so friendly, and I really hope Mohun Bagan takes home the league title and the play-offs. Joy Mohun Bagan!
