Chris Rogers is a Purdue University associate professor and the director of Computer Graphics and Technology in Indianapolis. In this video, he explains upcoming theme park experiences announced for 2025 and what technology advancements people can expect in the future. Rogers says a new Orlando, Florida theme park called Universal’s Epic Universe is opening in May. This new park features five themed lands that include franchises like How to Train Your Dragon, Harry Potter, Super Mario and Universal’s classic monsters. Advancements in AI technology have allowed theme parks to use mobile apps, wristbands, and other devices to deliver unique, customizable experiences for tourists. Theme parks will continue to integrate new technologies to create a more immersive and personalized guest experience.
