the sharp edges of loss,
the splintered wood of broken dreams.
Hope sits in the ashes,
a patient, silent artisan,
gathering the glass.
With scarred hands and trembling grace,
it binds them—
not to erase the break,
but to make the mosaic stronger for the cracks.
It returns,
not as it was before,
but as a deeper, more resilient light—
finding itself again,
in the very place it fell.
