Описание: लम्भुआ कोतवाली क्षेत्र के दियरा पुल के पास पुलिस और एसटीएफ की संयुक्त टीम ने बड़ी कार्रवाई की। नेशनल हाईवे 731 पर चेकिंग के दौरान हुई मुठभेड़ में लखीमपुर खीरी का शातिर बदमाश तालिब उर्फ आज़म ख़ान घायल हुआ। हालत गंभीर होने पर उसे सुल्तानपुर मेडिकल कॉलेज रेफर किया गया, जहां डॉक्टरों ने मृत घोषित कर दिया। पुलिस के अनुसार बदमाश ने फायरिंग की थी, जवाबी कार्रवाई में यह एनकाउंटर हुआ। मामले की जांच जारी है।
