Christian Quiñones talks about the music influences that shaped him growing up in Puerto Rico. His composition, Switch Up, was performed by the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra in Powell Hall on January 30, 2022.
This performance was part of the inaugural SLSO Composer Workshop, which immerses rising composers in a multi-day workshop with the orchestra, culminating in a free community concert of their music.
