नाशिक जिल्ह्यात काल रात्रीपासून सुरू असलेल्या संततधार पावसामुळे गोदावरी आणि दारणा नद्या दुथडी भरून वाहत आहेत. गंगापूर धरणातून सुमारे ३ हजार क्युसेक, तर दारणा धरणातून १५ हजार क्युसेक वेगाने पाण्याचा विसर्ग सुरू असल्याने नदीपात्रातील पाणीपातळीत मोठी वाढ झाली आहे.
यामुळे नाशिकच्या रामकुंड परिसरातील अनेक मंदिरे पुन्हा पाण्याखाली गेली असून, दुतोंड्या मारुतीच्या मूर्तीपर्यंत छातीएवढे पाणी पोहोचले आहे. यंदाच्या पावसाळ्यात गोदावरी नदीला दुसऱ्यांदा पूर आल्याने प्रशासनाने नदीकाठच्या नागरिकांना सतर्कतेचा इशारा दिला आहे.
दरम्यान, नांदूर मध्यमेश्वर धरणातून २५ हजार ९२१ क्युसेक वेगाने जायकवाडी धरणाकडे पाण्याचा विसर्ग सुरू आहे. नाशिक जिल्ह्यातील दमदार पावसामुळे मराठवाड्यातील जलसाठ्यातही मोठी भर पडणार असून, जायकवाडी धरणाला त्याचा लाभ होणार आहे.प्रशासनाने गोदावरी आणि दारणा नदीकाठच्या सखल भागातील नागरिकांना सतर्क राहण्याचे आवाहन केले असून, परिस्थितीवर सातत्याने लक्ष ठेवले जात आहे.

The administration has warned the citizens along the riverbanks to be alert as the Godavari river has flooded for the second time this monsoon.
Meanwhile, water is being released from Nandur Madhyameshwar dam towards Jayakwadi dam at a rate of 25 thousand 921 cusecs. Due to the heavy rains in Nashik district, the water storage in Marathwada will also increase significantly, and Jayakwadi dam will benefit from it. The administration has appealed to the citizens of the low-lying areas along the Godavari and Darna rivers to be alert, and the situation is being monitored continuously.
