So even when FDI gets pulled out of India, Japan’s commitment remains to invest more (USD 68 Bn)... as they’re friendly to India compared to China, and this investment is both strategic and financial.

2/ Because of Japan’s aging population... they have a massive shortfall of skilled talent and they have signed an Action Plan with India in 2025 to enable 500,000 jobs between the two nations in the next 5 years...

👉🏻 Japan is seeking talent in areas of IT & Tech, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Logistics and Education...

Companies are hiring mostly for IT skills right now, include Fujitsu, NTT Data, and NEC among others

Apart from the technical skills, they need you to do a basic course on Japanese Language proficiency for easier communication...

And while you can apply for roles in English, learning Japanese increases your chances manifold... and they’ve started training in India under the India–Nippon Programme for Applied Competency Training (INPACT)

While applying, you must make your resume in a Rirekisho format, which requires you to put your passport style photo, and mention your JLPT level i.e. the Japanese language proficiency.
