How To Remove Scratches from your Watch.
For this video, we are using A Dremel 4000 to remove the scratches but anything similar will also do a good enough job.
Remember you may need to re-apply polish once the cotton wheel goes black depending on the severity of the scratches.
For dents, more can go wrong, particularly with the contours of the watch, this is a more advanced technique that requires practice. Red compound is for gold watches only (not gold plated!)
If scratches are in a awkward position lower the number on the dremel to lower the risk of additional damage.
Remove watch straps to avoid marks on them. Matte finishes can be re-applied but we will demonstrate this in a separate video.
Avoid dremelling over writing on case as it will remove the finish.
The 3M mask is used to prevent you inhaling fumes as the process entails removing small strips of metal from your watch.
