Outside, the final section of siding on the west wall is completed, officially closing the chapter on exterior cladding. The rear deck post receives its wood wrap, drainage work continues with the front deck catch basin tied into the drywell, and site cleanup begins as stored forms and lumber are hauled away. Attention then shifts upward to the roofline, where old temporary gutters are removed and fascia ends are trimmed in preparation for new, better-protecting gutter installation.

A major milestone arrives with the installation of the custom cable railings. Fabricated by hand with beveled stainless base plates and TIG-welded frames, the system features concealed tension hardware for a clean, turnbuckle-free look. Over two days, the rear deck, front deck, and stair sections are fully assembled and tensioned, giving the outdoor spaces a modern, open feel while preserving the views.

Inside, finish carpentry accelerates. Window stools and trim are installed throughout, with the master bedroom feature wall receiving full wood wraps for added warmth and emphasis. Closet build-outs continue with custom shelving in the linen closet, bedroom closets, mudroom bench area, and the master walk-in. Baseboards begin going in across the house, including the backs of closets and niche spaces, while the garage stair handrail cap is installed. The dryer is brought in to complete the vent interface, and exterior sunroom wall sections are pressure washed.

Part 26 is defined by craftsmanship and detail — from precision metalwork on the decks to carefully fitted interior trim — as the remodel moves decisively from structure to finish.
