Bautzen II Web Tour - Erkunde das Stasi-Gefängnis virtuell

Описание: Gedenkorte digital erlebbar machen - unter diesem Motto steht das neueste Projekt “Bautzen II - Stasi-Gefängnis virtuell erkunden”, welches in Zusammenarbeit des Berliner Startups ZAUBAR mit der Gedenkstätte Bautzen entstanden ist. Ab dem 9. August 2021 können sich Geschichtsinteressierte, und die, die es noch werden wollen, auf eine virtuelle Webtour durch das ehemalige Stasi-Gefängnis in Bautzen II begeben und einen Einblick in den Transport, den Haftalltag und die Überwachung der Inhaftierten erhalten. Gewählt wurde das Datum anlässlich des 65. Jahrestages der Ankunft des ersten Insassens der neuen Stasi-Haftanstalt Bautzen II am 9. August 1956.

Bringing memorials to life digitally is the motto of the project "Bautzen II - Virtual Exploration of the Stasi Prison," which was created in collaboration between ZAUBAR and the Bautzen Memorial. Starting on August 9, 2021, history buffs can embark on a virtual web tour of the former Stasi prison in Bautzen II and gain insight into the detainees' transport, everyday detention, and surveillance. The date was chosen to mark the 65th anniversary of the arrival of the first inmate at the new Stasi prison in Bautzen II on August 9, 1956.
