Описание: The Caribbean Policy Research Institute (CAPRI) completed a report that dissects the National Expenditure Budget 2023/2024. CAPRI recognized that due to the complexities of the budgetary document, critical engagement by the public is limited. Without the critical engagement of a well-informed public, the budget will not reflect the needs of the people who are obligated to fund it. Three noteworthy shifts in the fiscal year of April 2023 to March 2024 were identified. This launch is a presentation of the findings from the assessment, followed by a discussion with The Honourable Nigel Clarke, DPhil, MP, Minister of Finance and Public Service.
